Join us along the TABOR TRAIL with Andy Campbell, Branford’s 2nd Selectman, to explore wonderful recreational possibilities of Branford’s Tabor property. We start at Tilcon Drive and walk east through the lovely woods skirting CHET’S POND. Shortly before the Greenway Trail crosses Pine Orchard Rd, we will join our unique Branford Trail, looping around west, walking to the top of the closed landfill for views of Long Island Sound, Branford River, and the town. Parking at Tabor Lutheran Church on Tabor Drive. From Main Street, take Montowese Street south. Shortly after you go under the railroad bridge, turn left onto Tabor Drive. Pass church, parking lot on your right. Open to the public. Just show up. Wear sturdy shoes.
