Fifth Annual Get the Children Outside walk

December 20, 2016

12-30-16

                              WHAT A BEAUTIFUL DAY!

On December 30,  a group of more than twenty, including the Branford Walkers,  joined  leader Leo Cristofar on our annual Get the Children Outside walk which takes place between Christmas and New Year’s.  We had a beautiful, brisk cold day as we parked at Tabor Lutheran Church, trod the temporary Shoreline Greenway Trail section past Chet’s Pond, linked to the Branford Trail, and headed up to Ecology Park. The views were especially awesome on this clear winter day as we looked over Long Island Sound and enjoyed the view of Blackstone Library and the town’s church steeples.
Branford’s next walk is on February 4 , meeting at the Tilcon Parking lot to walk the Stony Creek Trolley Trail.  The walk begins at 10:00 and will one again be led by Leo Cristofar.
Thanks,
Judy
