Join SGT in New Haven’s 10th annual Rock to Rock Earth Day ride on Saturday April 28, 2018.

Rock to Rock is a bike ride dedicated to supporting environmental organizations in and around New Haven.  It is a bike ride and not a race, participants choose from 5 different routes:  8 mile family ride – great for kids, a 12, 20 or 40 mile ride as well as the metric century.  There is something for everyone!  Team members raise funds for the trail and then enjoy a great bike ride with over a thousand people also celebrating Earth Day and environmental organizations important to them.  If interested or you would like more information about joining our Rock to Rock team, please contact Kristen at kristen.dsouza@gmail.com.  This will be SGT’s 4th year and we have always had a great time so join us!!

Volunteers Wanted!

Trail Maintenance Volunteers Wanted:

East Haven SGT town team is in need of volunteers to help maintain our trail. We meet about 6 times a year for trail cleanup. Typically this involves trash clean up, raking, leaf blowing and weeding. The ideal candidate knows his way around a pair of clippers!

Although we understand that everyone’s time is important to them we hope you will consider volunteering with us. We meet for about 2 hours on a mix of weekend mornings and weekday evenings. If you are interested please reach out to East Haven SGT Chairwoman Barbara Brow. Looking forward to working with you to keep up our wonderful trail!

This is also a great opportunity for high school aged kids to earn community service hours!

Thank you very much!
