Stantec Working on Preliminary Engineering Study
Engineering firm Stantec Consulting Services, Inc., of Hamden, began work on the Trail’s Preliminary Engineering Study in September 2009. Over the winter, they will be meeting with landowners along possible routes to assess their interest and answer any preliminary questions. In late winter, after Stantec and volunteers from the Shoreline Greenway Trail have contacted all landowners, the Trail will hold public information meetings on the proposed route. At the end of this process, Stantec will produce a report on the relevant issues and challenges of the proposed route and help prioritize spending and construction.
