Ride your bike many miles in 2010
Looking for a way to get more exercise in 2010? Join the Shoreline Greenway Trail Cyber Bike Club. No meetings, no dues, no hassle. All you need is a bike, a water bottle, and a helmet. A bike computer to record mileage is useful too.
Here’s how it works: email your cyber biker handle (a nickname that will let you be anonymous), your gender, your age, and your personal goal – the number of miles you want to ride in 2010 – to cyberbiker@shorelinegreenwaytrail.org.
Starting in 2010, at the end of each month the Cyber Bike Club coordinator will remind members to report the miles ridden that month. These miles will be added to a chart that will appear on this page to show each cyber biker’s progress and compare it to others in the same gender and age group.
The Shoreline Greenway Trail wants to motivate you to ride your bike more often and farther. So pump up your tires, strap on your helmet, and start peddling.
We are still constructing this site so watch for developments.
