Bike from the Guilford Harbor, through Sachem’s Head to Stony Creek, round trip, on-road, scenic 18 miles – Led by Terry Maguire, SGT Board member, and Paul Proulx of Elm City Cycling. Ride past Bloody Cove, Sachem’s Head harbor, enjoy 3+ miles of beautiful coastal wetlands and inlets; view Thimble Islands from the Stony Creek Dock. Meet at Guilford Marina/Harbor for 10am departure. Bring your own bike. Bike helmets required. Directions: I-95 Exit 58, south to Town Green, go right, then left onto Whitfield Street around Green, stay straight thru stop sign, following signs to Guilford Marina. After ride, enjoy one of many lunch spots on the Guilford Green (the dockside restaurants are temporarily closed due to hurricane damage).
