Shoreline Greenway Trail

For several years there has been an owl couple nurturing young on a nest high over the trail in Hammonasset. We are delighted to report that the owls are back again this year and appear to be occupying the nest platform. We suspect that what the endangered species people told us about northern harriers maybe true of owls too. Wherever people go mice will follow.
