In November, you can either join a bike ride from Guilford to Branford, or take a hike in Guilford. SGT Board members will be the leaders.
HIKE on the Menunkatuck Trail: Following up on his April First Saturday Walk, Team leader Milton Charlton will explore the continuation of the recently-blazed Menunkatuck Trail (part of New England Scenic Trail) heading north from East River Preserve. Be prepared for rocky, uneven trails and stream crossings. C. 4 miles. BIKE RIDE – 23 miles round trip to Indian Neck, Branford. Join SGT leaders Ted Braun, Terry & Martha Maguire for a 23-mile bike ride from the Guilford Green along picturesque Route 146 to Indian Neck and return along the shore. Ride departs at 10:00AM. May divide into a ‘fast’ and ‘leisure’ group, depending on speed and comfort. Helmets required.
