Hike into the FARM RIVER STATE PARK from our Trail by the D.C. Moore Elementary School Hike, with SGT leaders Barbara Brow and Michael Gambardella. We’ll walk to an overview of the Bradford Preserve tidal wetlands, then along our 1200 ft. granite-topped trail to our Trailhead, continue down Pevetty Drive into Farm River State Park, natural, peaceful and pristine. Osprey nests, caves, glorious views of the Farm River. Easy walk, one short steep area. Approx. 1.5 miles, 1 1/2 hours.
MEET at 10 AM. DIRECTIONS: from 142 West take a left onto Mansfield Grove Road to stop sign, right onto Hoop Pole Lane to second school parking lot on left.
