Geocaching is spreading across the country, and we are excited to report we now have two caches hidden along the Hammonasset Beach State Park section of the Trail.   Eight-year old Seth Gyllensten hid his cache there recently and he must be pretty good at hiding because so far geo-caching enthusiasts, who use GPS to locate caches, have been having a tough time finding it.   There is a little something in Seth’s cache from the Shoreline Greenway Trail for the first ten people who do.

Here is Seth looking very mysterious after he hid his cache.

To get started, go to geocaching.com and search for “Shoreline Greenway-Which Way?”  Instructions on how to sign up for a free account, locate, log and hide caches are on the site.

SGT welcomes others to hide caches on the Trail.

Happy hunting!
