Everyone is invited!! Come walk and bike our finished Trail at Hammonasset Beach State Park in Madison to celebrate our 12th year! Use our new parking lot, walk our new boardwalk and hike the length of our finished one-mile Trail! Chair Chip Angle will share 2013 highlights of the Trail’s progress in all four of our towns.

Then John Paulson, chair of the Trail Development Team for Shoreline Greenway Trail will lead us on an easy 2-mile roundtrip walk from our new parking lot to the future street crosswalk onto our walkway across the marsh along the completed Trail around the peninsula and back. Spectacular marsh views and bird watching. Very easy, a few minor hills, one hour walk. Meet at our Shoreline Greenway Trail eastern trailhead parking lot off Route One, just east of the Hammonasset entrance road. Directions: Exit 62 from I 95 south to Route 1. Left on Route 1.
