On October 4, our walk will highlight the new town path up to the top of the old landfill near the Tabor property. The views from the top are spectacular, overlooking Long Island Sound, Branford center, Branford River, and even East Haven. Meet at the end of the Shoreline Kennel drive off Pine Orchard Road, go west on SGT along Chet’s Pond, cross the Public Works road to begin the walk up the hill. We will return to our starting place via the Branford Trail. Walk begins at 10 am.
Parking: End of the Shoreline Kennel drive. Directions: Main Street Branford to Montowese, left on Pine Orchard Road, right following Pine Orchard Road, Shoreline Kennels on the right immediately after crossing the railroad pass.
