Site of work to begin on 747 foot trail section connecting Hammonasset to Webster Point Road in Madison
The Madison Team has begun work on the final leg of the Hammonasset section from Webster Point Road up the hill to the beginning of the Hammonasset Park property where the completed trail now ends. We are busy designing the trail, a retaining wall, and a water crossing in preparation for applying for the encroachment permit from the Dept. of Transportation. We are also clarifying other permitting and seeking funding to finish the job.
