Shoreline Greenway Trail is proud to once again participate in the International Festival of Arts & Ideas, a 15-day extravaganza that takes over theaters and open spaces in New Haven, Connecticut, each June. More than 80% of Festival events are completely free.

On Wednesday, June 24, at 5:30 pm, Paul Proulx (Elm City Cyclists) will be leading the Shoreline Greenway Trail ride departing from the New Haven Green.

The first stop will be Lighthouse Point where Jo Zaehringer will give us a little history about Lighthouse Point and an update on our progress toward completing the Shoreline Greenway Trail.  We will then ride into East Haven where Barbara Brow will tell us about the East Haven section of the trail, the Farm River and East Haven’s future plans. Sue Stacy will lead us to Meadow Street, where the East Haven trail section will meet Branford’s section. We will conclude at Sandpiper on Cosy Beach for ice cream and Q&A.

Difficulty Level: Easy to Moderate

Starting point and time: New Haven Green at 5:30 p.m.

Ride Time: Approximately 3 hours

Partner organization: Elm City Cycling
