Come celebrate Independence Day with the Shoreline Greenway Trail!  Wear your red, white and blue, bring your children, and meet at the end of Tilcon Road.  Flags will be handed out that we can wave as we parade along the new Tilcon trail section, up Totoket Road to Blackstone Ave, through Young Park and along the Birch Road section of the trail, ending at Pine Orchard Road.  Highlights include the Outdoor Classroom recently cleaned up by Boy Scout Charles Slate and Nature’s Garden that is under renovation.

Start Time:  10 a.m.      Length:  Approx. 2 miles

Directions:  From I-95 exit 55, go west on route 1 past Walgreens.  Make a left at the light by the Branford Auto Center onto Windmill Hill Road.  Take Windmill Hill Road to the end and make a left onto Damascus Road.  Pass Griffing Pond Road (on the right) and bear right onto Totoket Road.  Follow Totoket Road under the railroad overpass, keeping left.  Make a left turn at the Tilcon Road sign until you reach the parking lot at the end.
