Shoreline Greenway Trail

Dogs were also welcome at the Shoreline Greenway Trail walk on July 7th, as walkers from East Haven, Guilford , and Branford gathered at Young’s Pond Park.  The walk, led by Leo Cristofar, included the beautiful new Tabor trail section.  We were pleased to meet other people enjoying the trail, including a family of bike riders,  using both trail sections. Our furthermost point on the walk was the kiosk on Tabor Driver, where we all enjoyed watching (and hearing) the osprey who have built their nest in a tree by the side of the trail entrance. Dogs (and humans) behaved themselves, and we all had a great time on a clear, dry, comfortable summer day!
