To kick off the new year, a group of 15 eager people gathered together on Sunday Jan. 2, 2022 at Tabor Drive in Branford and strolled along beautiful Chet’s Pond. The day had been rainy earlier, but as we started, the clouds lifted, and when we got to the gazebo at Ecology Park the sun came out to greet us. Thanks to all who came, including the 5 trail-loving dogs! Special appreciation goes out to Branford Town and Shoreline Greenway Trail Board Chair Judy Miller who guided us through the walk, and who had hot chocolate and doughnuts waiting for the group at our walk’s end. A fun afternoon for all!
