On March 19, we were joined by Bob Kuchta, past Tree Warden of Madison. After some gloomy forecasts, it turned out to be very enjoyable weather. After some gloomy forecasts, it turned out to be very enjoyable weather. The walk was fun, informative and a nice chance to get out.
As we walked, we learned about all things trees including identification, native and non-native species found along the trail, illuminating facts about tree growth and appearance as well as taking in the beauty of the trail. Bob’s wealth of experience and easy-going delivery made this a great event.
