Step away from Zoom and hop onto your stationary bike to explore Gather New Haven’s farms, gardens, and the Shoreline Greenway Trail.

Feel like getting out of the house? Jump on your bike and follow the map to experience this guided journey with insight from the tour guides at the designated stops along the route. Learn about Gather New Haven, an organization that promotes health, equity, and justice for people and the environment by cultivating connections with each other and our local lands and waters, and by inspiring us to care for ourselves, our community, and the natural world. The tour will introduce you to spots like Long Wharf Nature Preserve, Grand Acres Community Gardens, and Phoenix Press Farm.

We hope to have Giovanni Zinn, New Haven City Engineer, on the ride to discuss the planned connection from the New Haven Union Station to East Coast Greenway to Shoreline Greenway.  From Lighthouse Point we will follow the current Shoreline Greenway route to at least Pine Orchard Rd in Branford. For those only interested in the Shoreline Greenway Trail ride, we will meet you at the beginning of the paved section near Tabor church where we will discuss the present and future trail.
