BRANFORD FIRST SATURDAY WALK, SEPTEMBER 4, 2021, 10AM

Start your Labor Day weekend with us on an interesting walk with some beautiful views  We’ll be coming together at the Pent Road Parking lot at Beacon Hill and walking to where the old dyke crossed the Farm River, discussing the history of that area as a quarry and crushing plant and embarkation point for trap rock.

Then we’ll climb Beacon Hill for some great views of the Farm River estuary.  Dogs and children welcome.  Time:  10:00.  Directions:  Route 1 heading west from Branford toward East Haven, Pent Road is on the left across from Action Sports.
