In 2020 the Madison town team of Shoreline Greenway Trail was awarded a grant from REI’s Milford CT store. With support of Hammonasset Beach State Park staff, a new water station was installed near the Greenway Trail parking lot at Hammonasset. It’s already in use by humans and dogs!

On June 18th at 10 am Shoreline Greenway Trail (an REI grantee) will hold a celebratory ribbon cutting. Because of previous COVID-19 restrictions, the event is long overdue and we are excited to have representatives from REI, the SGT, State, and local dignitaries. Please join us at the Hammonasset Beach State Park outer parking lot (just north of the main entrance to the park) as we celebrate this great project together!
