DESCRIPTION:Masters Walk – Dudley Farm Saturday March 29\, 2025 10 AM\nby Blythe Swift | Feb 14\, 2025 | Guilford\, Masters Series \n\n\nJoin Shoreline Greenway Trail  for a MASTERS WALK at Dudley Farm\, 2351 Durham Rd\, Guilford\, CT 06437\, on March 29\, 2025 at 10 AM. \nThe tour will be led by Maria Trumpler\, President of the Dudley Foundation. \nThe featured exhibit is the Quinnipiac Dawnland Museum. The museum features information and artifacts of Indigenous life in the region going back 14\,000 years. This includes the display and of use of artifacts that help explain why Indigenous people successfully adapted to tremendous environmental and climate changes over all those years. \nContemporary work by Indigenous artists\, poets\, and writers bring to life Indigenous belief systems and lifeways prior to the arrival of Europeans beginning in the early 1600’s. \nWe will also explore some of the many other exhibits. DESCRIPTION:Shoreline Greenway Trail will be one of the supporting sponsors for this event.  We will have representatives from the town team along with a recently formed Student Engagement team at Guilford High School.\n \nJoin us again for National Night Out on October 13\, 2024 at the Guilford Town Green\nThe Guilford Police Department is once again excited to host National Night Out on October 13th 2024 from 4:30pm to 7:30pm on the Guilford Town Green.\nNational Night Out is an annual event that promotes community-police partnerships and camaraderie to make our neighborhoods safer\, more caring places to live. It enhances relationships between law enforcement and community members\, and provides a great opportunity to bring police and the public together under positive circumstances.\nThe event is completely FREE\, and we welcome everyone and anyone to attend. There will be a DJ playing all of your favorite songs\, games and contests for kids\, inflatables\, food trucks and more! Come do the Cha-Cha with some of Guilford’s finest\, enjoy a hot slice of Naples pizza\, or try to catch one of our custom “I Love Guilford” t-shirts as we launch them from our t-shirt cannon. The Guilford Fire Department will be on scene for a “touch a truck\,” as well as representatives from other town departments who will be there to answer any questions you may have. Local businesses and organizations will also be hanging out with us\, and may even have some free giveaways..
