As part of the Shoreline Greenway Trail’s 20th anniversary celebration, we are holding a series of Master events. You will be happy to hear that the historical walk by Joe Naylor of the Branford Historical Society has been rescheduled for Saturday, November 19 at 10:00am.
What: Historian Joe Naylor of the Branford Historical Society will tell us about the deep history of the town’s Tabor property, from the time of the native Totokets to the present. It’s a fascinating tale of a sequence of uses that has led to the present status of the property as a location for the Shoreline Greenway Trial, Chet’s Pond, the Branford labyrinth, and the town’s solar farm. The talk will be followed by a walk to the eastern end of the property and on to the Branford Trail, then up to neighboring Ecology Park, with its 360 degree views.
This walk is free and open to all and the general public from any area!
When: Saturday, November 19, 2022, 10:00 am.
Where: Meet at the Tabor parking lot, at the intersection of Tabor Drive and Ark Road in Branford. GPS: use Tabor Lutheran Church. Parking lot is on left shortly after passing the church. Please do not park at the Tabor church parking lot.
