Shoreline Greenway Trail, 1st Saturday walk/hike, Guilford, Aug 5th, West River Preserve

Join us for a hike Saturday, August 5^th, 10 AM, meeting at the Baldwin Middle School parking lot (68 Bullard Dr, Guilford, CT 06437). We will start our hike in Baldwin Woods, heading north into the West River Preserve (owned by the Town of Guilford, overseen by the Guilford Conservation Commission) towards the West River and then south into Bittner Park. These 3 adjoining pieces of open space comprise over 200 acres of public land and approximately 7 miles of trails. Wear hiking boots (some wet spots depending on weather) and some hilly terrain. Bug spray recommended. Leashed dogs welcomed.

NOTE: the starting point has changed from earlier notices since there is a professional disc golf tournament in Bittner Park and parking will be limited there. Questions – call or text 203-815-0947.
