Trolley & Trails, Summer Series, East Haven, August 19th

The Shore Line Trolley Museum and the Shoreline Greenway Trail announce a summer series of talks and walks along the historic Connecticut Trolley system as it winds along sections of the Shoreline Greenway Trail.
MEET AT the Shoreline Trolley Museum, 17 River Street, East Haven at 10 AM.
This series will consist of a speaker from the Shore Line Trolley Museum visiting Shoreline Greenway Trail sections and speaking to the history of the system in that area while leading a walk along the Trail.
Expect to hear about the once popular, multi-section Trolley system that serviced Shoreline communities in the early 1900’s.
At the same time, you’ll enjoy a walk along sections of the Shoreline Greenway Trail. Most sections that will be accessed are wooded and about 1-2 miles in length with relatively level, multi-purpose trails.

Sept 9th, Madison 10 AM – Hammonasset section starting at the trailhead parking lot off the Post Road.
