Bike Rodeo
Brad, Wendy, Luca and together with the Guilford Police Department staffed a bike rodeo at the high school on June 14th. High school students Eva Klopotek, Wyatt Losee and Emily Jones helped.
Police Officers Sargeant Anthony Nucolo , Detective Carmelo Rivera and Officer Scott Gingras had their police bikes and guided the children through the obstacle course.
Bob Low checked and tuned-up all the bikes – several needed serious work. Marilyn Mather checked helmet fit and adjusted several of them to make sure the children were properly protected. Both Bob & Marilyn volunteer with Bikes4Kids.
Despite the cloudy weather, light rain and other events in town, several families did show up to take advantage of the rodeo. They were very grateful for the work and the children enjoyed riding with the police (on their official police bikes).
