Join Shoreline Greenway Trail for a MASTERS WALK at Dudley Farm, 2351 Durham Rd, Guilford, CT 06437, on March 29, 2025 at 10 AM.
The tour will be led by Maria Trumpler, President of the Dudley Foundation.
The featured exhibit is the Quinnipiac Dawnland Museum. The museum features information and artifacts of Indigenous life in the region going back 14,000 years. This includes the display and of use of artifacts that help explain why Indigenous people successfully adapted to tremendous environmental and climate changes over all those years.
Contemporary work by Indigenous artists, poets, and writers bring to life Indigenous belief systems and lifeways prior to the arrival of Europeans beginning in the early 1600’s.
We will also explore some of the many other exhibits. Afterwards we will have the opportunity to explore the rest of the grounds on our own for the rest of the day.
