Volunteers Needed

Volunteers are the amazing force that drives Shoreline Greenway Trail. With no paid staff or central office, we rely entirely on individuals and groups to volunteer their time, skill and effort. All of our officers, board members, and team and committee leaders are volunteers. Volunteerism is making a Shoreline dream a reality. Please volunteer today.

How Do I Volunteer?

We’re excited that you’re interested! Here are three ways to take the first step to becoming a Shoreline Greenway Trail volunteer.

Please Volunteer Today

Volunteers help Shoreline Greenway Trail in every conceivable way and make their towns better for it. They get outdoors, experience and learn about nature, give back to their communities and make new friends.

There are many ways that you, your family, friends, your companies, co-workers and fellow SGT members can help advocate for the project, build trail and generate support.

We’re developing an interactive trail map and would like to find someone familiar with Google Earth and/or GIS software to create the base map and appropriate information layers. Contact John Paulson.

Volunteering Is Fun—and Fulfilling

Shoreline residents of all ages work on the trail, in the field, at home and behind the scenes. On their own, in teams, and through work, school, Scouts and clubs.

Learn new skills, meet new people, and enjoy the satisfaction of participating in a collective effort that leaves a lasting legacy for your family, friends—and for your entire community.

Volunteer as much time and as often as you wish.
