On July 5th, join SGT leader Milton Charlton in exploring the blue-blazed Menunkatuck Trail that runs north from Long Island Sound at Chittenden Park in Guilford almost to the border with Durham. Milton will lead hikers on a 4 mile, 2.5 hour round-trip hike through the Timberlands section of the trail in North Guilford. Meet at the dam at Upper Guilford Lake (on Lakeside Drive) at 9:30 a.m. Directions: From I 95 Exit 58, go north on Rt. 77, turn right on Stepstone Hill, pass the golf course, then turn left on Lakeside Drive.
